What legal and ethical issues does this text bring up? False journalism, bias and pushing different agendas (see set texts above)
Does this text offer its audiences a plurality of experiences? This could be argued because of how both newspapers have different sections within the paper, such as the sports section, fashion, furniture, tv, horror-scopes, advert pages etc. While both of the papers do encompass this, I do not think that it is true plurality because of how bias can be presented within each paper. As well as this, both papers have a different layout, taking bias out of the picture, it can be assumed that The Times has a wider sense of plurality due to its more middle class demographic. The Daily Mirror, on the other hand, is a tabloid newspaper and more focused on sensationalist and celebrity stories, more for the working class audience.
